The KSY centrifugal pump conforms to BB1 structure in API 610 standards. The inlet and outlet are horizontal. Pump body and pump cover are horizontally split at the centerplane for easy disassembly and maintenance. The rotor of the pump balances axial force automatically. The KSY centrifugal pump is manufactured accoding to 11 edition of API610 standards. The shaft seal can adopt various mechanical seals according to API682 standards. The working pressure at normal temperature is 2.0 Mpa, some can reach 5.0 Mpa, which is different from water pump in the industry.

The KSY centrifugal pump is mainly used for conveying petroleum-related product in stock tank devices of the petroleum refining industry, transporting crude oil and refined oil product in terminals and oil depots, serving as ship pump and unloading pump. The KSY centrifugal pump is also used for conveying medium which is similar to water in chemical industry, paper industry, water supply and environmental protection industry.
